A year ago, I realized that I was having trouble breathing. All my breaths were shallow. I was incapable of taking a full breath into the belly. For a while I was doing a few breathing exercises, but I didn't feel like I was improving my lung capacity. Most of the time I was just making myself dizzy.
This past week, I added qi gong to my morning routine and I've really felt the results. The new ease in breathing has meant it's possible for me to do camel pose without feeling like I'm drowning. I also tried guided meditation for heart chakra, and I found that it cleared the mental block that was constraining my breath.
